Qual-Craft Industries was founded in 1951 in a small town outside of Boston, Massachusetts. They were recently acquired by Guardian Fall Protection.

Qual-Craft Industries designs, engineers and manufactures a broad range of professional-quality equipment, including scaffolding and staging systems, roofing and shingling tools, construction accessories and fall protection products.

Qual-Craft’s ongoing focus on innovative designs and product quality results in steady development of new products that helps contractors increase jobsite efficiency, productivity and safety. The company holds five US product patents, including those on its Ultra-Jack pump jack scaffolding system, its Shingle Shark roof shingle cutter and its Corner Buddy ladder attachment that stabilizes ladders used on building corners or multi-dimensional building surfaces.

The company develops new products and improves existing products through a robust design and engineering effort, and has been successful creating tools chosen by contractors for their durability, performance and safety. Qual-Craft’s latest product introduction is their new Basemate professional ladder stabilizer. It is designed to allow extension ladders to remain stable on uneven surfaces. This lightweight accessory attaches to most fiberglass, aluminum and wood extension ladders.
