3324050 Rollgliss R500 Descender offers the choice of controlled descent device, evacuation or assisted rescue with lifting capabilities with ladder mount bracket and humidity resistant case from elevations up to 50 feet. This state of the art, fully automatic controlled descent device sets new standards of performance and safety in the rescue market. The system excels in handling, technology, function, safety and versatility-even under the most difficult conditions. The R500 provides quick and safe operation with superior technology and design. The system can be used for rescue and evacuation from heights up to 1,000 feet for one user 310 lbs or 330 feet for two users totaling 550 lbs. It features 3/8 inch super static kernmantle rope and is configured with connecting hardware at each end of the lifeline. The configuration allows the R500 to operate in both directions-one end of the lifeline descends as the other ascends readying the system for another rescue. During assisted-rescue scenarios, a fallen worker can be attached to the R500 device, raised to a point that allows their fall arrest device to be removed, then lowered to the ground safely. The ladder bracket provides a means to attach the unit to the rungs of a fixed ladder. The fully sealed case provides 10 year minimum storage life substantially reducing inspection and maintenance costs.
