2805 ARS 2 X 8 Temporary Anchor
2805 ARS 2 X 8 Temporary Anchor designed to be installed onto the top cords of trusses and rafters as a temporary anchorage device. Constructed of 11 gauge stainless steel. Easily attaches to a 2 X 4, 2 X 6, or 2 X 8 top cord and can be used on cathedral ceilings or exposed rafters and standard I-Joists. In event of a fall, the anchor stem folds over and pivots on the rafter reducing shock load and also distributes the shock load over a wider area of the rafter. This reduces if not eliminates damage to the framing member.
