The spring balanced LadderUP Safety Post extension device enables service personnel to enter or exit roof hatch, vault or manhole in safer upright and balanced position. It features tubular construction and permanently mounts on top two ladder rungs. Unit telescopes up and down, locking in upright position. This enables service personnel to enter or exit the roof hatch, vault or manhole in a safe manner, as though the interior ladder extended above roof or grade level. A handy release lever allows the LadderUP to be lowered to its retracted position.
