48 Inch X 150 Feet Pearlweave Standard Grade Vertical Debris Netting
Pearlweave 48 inch X 150 feet standard grade fluorescent red vertical debris netting. Primarily used as vertical debris containment/guardrail system on open-sided floors during construction phase. When properly installed from a "compliant" top cable and secured directly to the concrete deck the net panel meets OSHA Subpart M requirements for a guardrail system. The system not only provides fall protection but also prevents jobsite debris from falling off the structures open sides onto personnel below. System does not require mid-rail or toe board when installed as per recommended method. Pearlweave netting also used as hoistway screening during elevator construction or servicing. OSHA requires the installation of screening between adjacent elevator hoistways toprotect workers from injury. Pearlweave netting, when installed vertically inside elevator hoistways provides the equivalent protection to that of wire mesh. It replaces screening behind traveling cables, protects counterweight frames and most importantly, prevents workers from straying into the adjacent hoistway or area between counterweight rails, thereby preventing serious injury and even loss of life. Easier to install than traditional wire meshes while exceeding their strength characteristics.
