BlueWater 500206 5 Foot Powder Coat ParaRail Kit consisting of 1 counterweight base, 1 ParaRail section and 2 locking pins.  The ParaRail is a portable or permanent counterweight non-penetrating guardrail system designed to provide protected access to the leading edge on flat roofs or parapet walls.  Ideal solution for providing fall protection for a number of roof edge activities including, maintaining security cameras, lights, antennas and drains.  Makes an excellent protected area for hoisting tools and materials.  This kit is made up of one 300014 counterweight base, one 5 foot ParaRail section and two 100016 locking pins.  Each ParaRail is fabricated to the specific size parapet of the building.  Outriggers are required for every ParaRail application, even if it is part of a continuous run.  The 1-5/8 inch steel tubing top rail measures 42 inches above work surface.  Bright, safety yellow powder coat finish.  Each rail section includes tube with set-up instructions.  The counterweight base has four slotted entry ports to provide an infinite range of rail placement.  Rubber pads on underside of base protects roof surface.  The 108 lb base has a lifting point to accommodate use of EZ Mover dolly.  The locking detent pin secures the 5 foot ParaRail to the base providing a visual means of verifying that it is locked into place.  ParaRail system has been tested to meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.23 and 1926.502 requirements for guardrail systems.
