BlueWater 500226 7.5 Foot Powder Coat SafetyRail 2000 Gate Kit consisting of 1 counterweight base, 1 gate section and 2 locking pins.  The SafetyRail 2000 is a portable counterweight non-penetrating guardrail system that does not require use of any tools.  The gate kit is made up of one 300014 counterweight base, one 7.5 foot SafetyRail 2000 gate section and two 100016 locking pins.  The counterweight base has four slotted entry ports to provide a wide range of rail gate placement.  Rubber pads on underside of base protects roof surface and provides stability on slippery surfaces.  The 108 lb base has a lifting point to accommodate use of EZ Mover dolly.  The locking detent pin secures the 7.5 foot gate to the base providing a visual means of verifying that it is locked into place.  The 1-5/8 inch steel tubing top rail measures 42 inches above work surface.  Bright, safety yellow powder coat finish.  The gate system's strong latching mechanism is designed to keep the hinges parallel to the latch post.  The 90 degree welded hinge insures that the gate can only open away from the opening.  Gate section includes a support wheel for ease of movement.  Gate kits are ideal for use with roof hatch, skylight and floor door applications.  SafetyRail 2000 gate kits have been tested to meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.23 and 1926.502 requirements for guardrail systems.
