Super Anchor 1011 Safety Bar tie-off point for use with 2X6 top cords. Developed specifically for open framing situations commonly found in residential construction. The Safety Bar is designed to provide an OSHA required 5,000 lbs anchor point for fall arrest in an open environment, prior to the roof being fully braced or sheathed. Instead of anchoring an anchor to one truss, rafter, or top cord, the Safety Bar spans 3 trusses thus distributing the force load generated in a fall over multiple contact points. Approved for use with retractable lifelines and vertical lifelines. The Safety Bar not only provides a sturdy tie-off point, but also accurately spaces your top cord 24 inch o.c. Constructed from cold rolled steel and powder coated for durability and long life. The top cord sockets are held in place by high quality detent locking pins. By linking several bars in series, you can set your trusses and have multiple tie-off points.
